 Nassau Library System |
The Nassau Library System held Teen Summit Two on Monday, August 13, 2007, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at the Lynbrook Public Library. The Henry Waldinger Memorial Library nominated five teens to attend the program:

The workshop was facilitated by a trainer from The Search Institute who discussed the 40 Developmental Assets and focused on developing leadership skills in the teens. It was a great opportunity for the teens from Valley Stream to meet and interact with teens throughout Nassau County. All the teens received goodie bags of books, etc. and had a great time.
The program was funded in part by Federal Library Services and Technology Act Funds, awarded to the New York State Library by the Federal Institute of Museum and Library Services.
