DIRECTIONS:
FROM SOUTHERN STATE PARKWAY - EXIT 17 NORTH (HEMPSTEAD AVE):
Stay in the right lane and proceed north on Hempstead Avenue about 3/4 mile.
Library is orange brick building on the east (right) side of Hempstead Avenue.
Large municipal lot is on the south side of the building and small parking lot stands on the north side.
FROM HEMPSTEAD TURNPIKE (ROUTE 24):
Eastbound: Turn south (right) at Nassau Blvd. Proceed to end of road (approximately 1 mile). Make left turn at light onto Hempstead Ave. (Landmark: Hall's Pond on the left.) Go 1/2 mile to library on right side of road.
Westbound: Turn south (left) at Westminster Road. (Landmark: Shoppers Village store on the left). Hempstead Avenue is next major road. Turn right at the light on Hempstead Avenue. (Landmark: Blue Tequila Restaurant on the right.) Library is 1/2 mile south on left side of road.
FROM NORTHERN NASSAU COUNTY:
Get to Hempstead Turnpike via major road (e.g. New Hyde Park Road, Nassau Blvd., Franklin Ave.) and follow directions as above.
